T-PAIN GOES ON STRIKE?

T-Pain has made a risky decision. The Auto-tune king told MTV News that he’s officially gone on strike and refuses to release his album until sales pick back up. The “Reverse Cowgirl” singer stated he has the “mastered version of [his] album,” however nobody will ever hear it “until these artists start selling records again.” Pain says everyone except for Susan Boyle and Miley Cyrus should follow his approach. NEW YUNG JOC AND GAME COLLABO

Yung Joc told XXLMag.com about the recording process for his new single, “We Do It B.I.G.” featuring Game. The former Bad Boy artist revealed the collaboration came together by accident, after Game heard a beat from an up-and-coming producer passing out CDs. Recorded in an Atlanta studio, Joc revealed it only took two hours for the track to be completed and by 9 AM the next day it was on the radio. Crazy! <WM>

LIL BOOSIE FACES DEATH PENALTY?

After being indicted by a grand jury, Torrance “Lil Boosie” Hatch could face the death penalty stemming from a first degree murder charge. Hatch and two other men are accused of shooting and killing a man named Terry Boyd. EMINEM, USHER TO PERFORM DURING BET AWARDS

We’ve just learned Eminem, Usher, T-Pain and Alicia Keys have all been added
to the official line-up for the 2010 BET Awards Show. The newly confirmed
musical acts join previously announced performers Kanye West, T.I., Drake,
Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj and Diddy/Dirty Money. Hosted by Queen Latifah, the
2010 BET Awards Show will broadcast live from Los Angeles on June 27th at 8

During an interview with The New York Times Magazine, Eminem revealed that
he’s matured and changed his views on a lot of things. The notoriously
homophobic rapper admits that he now supports gay marriage. Slim Shady feels

DR DRE RESPONDS TO SINGLE LEAK

Dr Dre has released a statement regarding the unauthorized leak of his first
single, “Under Pressure” featuring Jay-Z. The hitmaker stated on his
official website, “I want to set the record straight for everybody who’s
been waiting to hear my music.” Dre added, “The song that’s on the Internet
is an incomplete song that I’m still working on. When it’s ready, you’ll be
hearing it from me.” The Scott Storch-produced track is the first we’ve
heard from the producer’s long-awaited Detox album. It’s rumored the disc

MAXWELL CANCELS SECOND LEG OF TOUR

The second leg of Maxwell’s summer tour with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu has
officially been cancelled. Shore Fire Media explained in a statement, “Due
to scheduling conflicts with the venues, Maxwell’s additional tour dates
with Melanie Fiona (scheduled to begin June 28 in Greensboro, N.C.) have
been postponed to 2011.” As for those who purchased passes, “refunds have
been provided to ticket buyers. New dates will be announced later this

*       RUMOR! According to Yazmar.com, there’s speculation that the real
reason Maxwell canceled the tour is due to conflicts with Erykah or Jill. A
source said, “Both ladies tend to run over on their allotted time each night
at 8:30, and Maxwell is fed up.”

BEYONCE TIRED OF “SINGLE LADIES” ROUTINE?

According to NecoleBitchie.com, Beyonce reportedly wants to retire the
dancing routine for her 2008 smash hit, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).”
Sources reveal the singer “loves the fact the video and the routine have
been so huge and has really enjoyed performing ‘Single Ladies’ live, but
that’s it now, she’s moving on.” The source added that Bey “doesn’t want to
be part of a long-term joke, [but] that’s not to say she doesn’t get a big

Justin Bieber’s new video for “Somebody To Love” featuring Usher made its
world premiere during the first live results show of So You Think You Can
Dance last night.  Bieber has sold more than five-million albums worldwide
and reached number one in 17 countries with his latest release, My World
2.0, which spawned the hit singles “Baby” and “Somebody To Love.” The
16-year-old will kick off his huge summer tour at the XL Center in Hartford,

KATY PERRY HOLDS ON TO NUMBER ONE SPOT

Katy Perry will remain at number one of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the
second straight week with “California Gurls” featuring Snoop Dogg.  The
California girl scored another 353-thousand downloads of the tune, according
to Nielsen SoundScan.  Usher remains at number two with “OMG” featuring
will.i.am.  Also holding in place on the chart is “Airplanes” by B.o.B
featuring Hayley Williams at number three.  Travie McCoy climbs one spot to
number four with “Billionaire” featuring Bruno Mars, and Ke$ha falls one
notch to number five with “Your Love Is My Drug.” Meanwhile, Lady Gaga’s
“Alejandro” returns to its highest ranking, climbing one spot to number six,
