BACHELOR BREAK-UP! The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka and the woman he
chose on the show, Vienna Girardi, have called off their engagement. The
media friendly couple’s rep issued a statement asking for privacy at this
time. According to E! Online, this brings the total of failed Bachelor
pairings up to 13. When we caught up with Jake, in happier times for the

T.I. told CNN’s T.J. Holmes that he doesn’t want to be a “40-year-old
rapper.” While Tip respects and admires Jay-Z for continuing to make music,
after a certain age, T.I. plans to call it quits. If given the option to
have Hova’s career or Will Smith’s career, the emcee would go with Smith
because “he gets to spend more time with family.” T.I. will still produce
and discover new talent, but don’t expect an album ten years from now. Come

According to, Jay-Z has reportedly settled a trademark
infringement lawsuit with Boston Red Sox’s David Ortiz. Back in April, Hova
filed a suit against the baseball player after he opened a Dominican

popular 40/40 sports bars, which prompted the mogul to sue for five million
dollars. In addition to renaming the venue, Ortiz has agreed to stop from

The Black Eyed Peas have just announced T-Pain, Jason Derulo and B.o.B. will
open select dates of the second North American leg of The E.N.D. World Tour

According to the BBC, Snoop Dogg was banned from performing at a free Dutch
concert in the Netherlands. Authorities reportedly asked organizers to
replace the rapper to ensure the “open and friendly character” of the
festival. After learning the news, Snoop’s rep released a statement that
read, “Snoop is a mainstay at music festivals all over the world and has
performed at all of these without incident.” Despite the ban, the rapper is
expected to perform in select cities in the Netherlands later this summer.


According to USA Today, Lady Gaga paid an unscheduled visit to the New York
Yankees locker room following a loss to the cross-town rival New York Mets
on Friday.  Gaga waltzed into the clubhouse wearing just a bikini bottom
with an open Yankees jersey and talked to a few players.  Yankees general
manager Brian Cashman said Gaga is welcome to the stadium anytime, but not
allowed in the clubhouse following a loss.  He said she was simply in the
wrong place at the wrong time.  Cashman added that no celebrities are

Katy Perry completes the quickest ascent to the top of Billboard’s Pop Songs
radio airplay chart in more than five years, as “California Gurls” featuring
Snoop Dogg leaps four spots to number one in its sixth week. According to
Billboard, the song logs the fastest flight to the list’s top spot since
Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl” reached number one in six weeks back in
2005.  “California Gurls” is Perry’s third number one on the chart.  “Hot N
Cold” led for three weeks in 2008 and “Waking Up in Vegas” ruled for two
weeks last August.  “California Gurls” has spent the last two weeks at the
summit of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has sold 1.4-million downloads,
according to Nielsen SoundScan.  Perry’s album, Teenage Dream, drops on
August 24th.

    T-Pain has made a risky decision. The Auto-tune king told MTV News that he’s officially gone on strike and refuses to release his album until sales pick back up.     After being indicted by a grand jury, Torrance “Lil Boosie” Hatch could face the death penalty stemming from a first degree murder charge. Hatch and two other men are accused of shooting and killing a man named Terry Boyd.     We’ve just learned Eminem, Usher, T-Pain and Alicia Keys have all been added
    to the official line-up for the 2010 BET Awards Show. The newly confirmed
    musical acts join previously announced performers Kanye West, T.I., Drake,
    Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj and Diddy/Dirty Money. Hosted by Queen Latifah, the
    2010 BET Awards Show will broadcast live from Los Angeles on June 27th at 8

    he’s matured and changed his views on a lot of things. The notoriously

    Dr Dre has released a statement regarding the unauthorized leak of his first
    single, “Under Pressure” featuring Jay-Z. The hitmaker stated on his
    official website, “I want to set the record straight for everybody who’s
    been waiting to hear my music.” Dre added, “The song that’s on the Internet
    is an incomplete song that I’m still working on. When it’s ready, you’ll be
    hearing it from me.” The Scott Storch-produced track is the first we’ve
    heard from the producer’s long-awaited Detox album. It’s rumored the disc

    The second leg of Maxwell’s summer tour with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu has
    officially been cancelled. Shore Fire Media explained in a statement, “Due
    to scheduling conflicts with the venues, Maxwell’s additional tour dates
    with Melanie Fiona (scheduled to begin June 28 in Greensboro, N.C.) have
    been postponed to 2011.” As for those who purchased passes, “refunds have
    been provided to ticket buyers. New dates will be announced later this

    dancing routine for her 2008 smash hit, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).”
    Sources reveal the singer “loves the fact the video and the routine have

    forced London to drive them around the city and buy drugs and alcohol for
    them. Jeremy escaped his captors later that night and an arrest has since
