MANIA TEASER TRAILER RELEASED
Jessica Cameron Unleashes the First Footage of MANIA
Director/Scream Queen Jessica Cameron has shared the first bit of footage from her sophomore directorial vehicle, titled MANIA . The teaser trailer can be viewed at the link below:
The plot of the film revolves around two lesbian lovers who flee their home and travel cross country after a brutal murder. The movie stars Ellie Church ( Time to Kill, Headless) in the lead role of Mel.
Mania is scheduled to start the festival circuit later this year. Fans are encouraged to ask for it at their favorite festival.
MANIA was one of three features that were filmed simultaneously while traveling across the United States in an RV. Desolation was the other narrative feature, which is a modern hitch hiker tale in which Cameron stars along side Carlo Mendez (The Bay, The Second Coming of Christ). Kill the PA will be the feature length documentary that chronicles the making of both movies, giving the fans an eye opening, honest look into how indie films are made.
Cameron launched her directing career with the multiaward winning film Truth or Dare which went on to win 33 awards across the globe at various film festivals including the Twin Cities Film Festival, Frightfest London, and Monster Fest in Australia, amongst others. She reteamed with Truth or Dare cohorts Mem Ferda ( The Devil’s Double, Hyena ) and Jonathan Scott Higgins ( Utero ). Ferda produced, with Higgins and Cameron executive producing from a script by Higgins

I checked out another movie folks…
THE D TRAIN is about a dude named Dan Landsman (Jack Black) – who in high school…wasn’t exactly the coolest kid in school. Now all grown up – he leads a few of his high school classmates on an adventure. What’s this adventure I speak of?! (lol) The adventure of putting their 20 year high school reunion together. One night…Dan sees a TV commercial – – in that commercial is Oliver Lawless (James Marsden) – the MOST popular guy from his high school!! He’s now the face of a national Banana Boat ad campaign. Dan is now on a mission – – to go to Los Angeles…find Oliver…and bring him back to the reunion. If all goes as planned – DAN will be the coolest guy in town. (lol)
My thoughts on THE D TRAIN…
THE GOOD! I really liked this movie people. Let me just get this out of the way. When I asked my wife if she wanted to watch it. She says to me, “Who’s in itn?” I say, “Jack Black.” She says, “Ahhhhh I don’t know. Jack Black can be really dumb.” I say, “Just watch it and be quiet woman!!” (Ok, I didn’t really say that part) Either way…after it was done – She liked it!! If you watch the trailer – – it just gives you a snippet of what really happens in this movie. (lol) Everyone in the movie was great. You will laugh. Be prepared though – – when watching this – – some of you might say, “WTF JUST HAPPENED??!” – – – just go with it. (lol) It gets pretty hilarious…then border line dark…then back to happy go lucky. (lol) Just wattccchhh the movie people. Hmmmmm…what else did I like. Oh. The soundtrack – the movie’s got some really good tunes. I also liked the 80’s feel I got – almost like a John Hughes movie. (lol) I’m old – what can I say. (lol) Oh…one more thing. James Marsden. I’m not exactly a fan of the dude – he just never stood out to me – but in THE D TRAIN. He’s solid. He’s officially on my radar…in a good way. (lol)
THE BAD! No complaints. I like it all. (lol)
I give THE D TRAIN… 4 out of 5 popcorns. Like I said before. I thought it was a really good movie and deserves a watch. It’s not your typical Jack Black movie that’s for sure. This one definitely shows his acting chops. Watch it people!

Comcast’s XFINITY Brand Becomes Lead Sponsor of All U.S. Tour Dates
Customers Get Access to Behind-The-Scenes Videos, Plus Chances to Win Tickets, Meet & Greets, Backstage Tours, and Tour Merchandise
Comcast today announced that the company’s Xfinity brand will become the lead sponsor of Taylor Swift’s The 1989 World Tour, offering its customers benefits such as access to behind-the-scenes video footage from tour rehearsals as well as the chance to meet the seven-time Grammy winner and win backstage tours, tour merchandise and concert tickets.
Xfinity will become the lead sponsor of all U.S. tour dates on The 1989 World Tour, starting on May 20 in Bossier City, LA and ending on October 31 in Tampa, FL.
“Taylor Swift is a global superstar and her fans have an unrivaled passion for everything she touches,” said Todd Arata, VP, Brand Marketing, Comcast Cable. “And now, Xfinity and Taylor Swift are coming together to bring Taylor fans an experience they can’t get anywhere else.”
As a part of the sponsorship, Xfinity will build an unprecedented Xfinity On Demand experience including videos that give viewers a backstage pass to what goes into preparing for each show of The 1989 World Tour. Customers also will get On-Demand access to a curated collection of movies, TV shows and talk show appearances featuring Taylor as well her music videos.
“Throughout the tour we’ll also surprise fans with ticket giveaways, signed merchandise and more, including a lip sync competition among fans for the chance to meet Taylor herself,” added Arata.
At each U.S. concert venue, Xfinity will host a backstage “vibe room” where select Xfinity customers and concertgoers will have an opportunity to go on backstage tours and attend a meet-and-greet with Taylor. At select tour locations, the brand will also create an “Xfinity Zone,” where concertgoers will have an opportunity to experience the best of Xfinity, including the X1 Entertainment Operating System. Visitors can also have fun with a photo booth that enables fans’ photos to be super-imposed onto backgrounds featuring the singer.
